Just out of film school I sold a movie project to producer Ned Tanen at Universal. I started my pitch with the words “This movie is a satire on the American dream.” Four years, three studios, and many rewrites later the film “Campus Man” was released and the movie critic at the Los Angeles Times titled his review “Satire of the American Dream.”
