The global audiobook market has seen consistent double-digit growth and is projected to continue expanding at a rate of 26% annually. From $7 billion annually at present, the market is expected to surpass $35 billion by 2030.

Full-cast audiobooks that are not tied to a print book will carve out their own niche in the booming audio universe.

Digital-only publishing eliminates costs for printing, shipping, inventory management, and complex distribution logistics. Original audiobooks – written and produced without being a supplement to a physical product – will bring vivid and distinctive listening entertainment through devices that are already ubiquitous.

By adding inexpensive-to-produce ebook versions and given the ongoing technological innovations for recording foreign language translations, the audiobook format is cost-efficient and boundlessly scalable.
